We have partnered with both New Missions and Brent Gambrell in Haiti the past two Thanksgivings. They are in the country and trying to respond to the great needs of the people who have been affected by the recent earthquake and continue to be affected by the subsequent aftershocks. Our church is collecting funds for Haiti to help with the enormous needs there. Several buildings located in the New Missions complex (schools, churches, and a medical clinic) were destroyed and must be rebuilt. A kindergarten teacher was killed as well as several school children. In addition, dozens of other casualties have been reported throughout the region surrounding the mission complex. Please mark your envelope “Haiti relief” if you could contribute to this fund. Donations will be received through January. We are also collecting supplies that are needed RIGHT NOW to help the people of that country. There is a listing of supplies being collected on brentgambrell.com. Watch the video below to get a better picture of both the ministry of New Missions and the devastation of the earthquake

Now is a great time to get a new start in a bible fellowship group.  Be sure and check the schedule and facility maps to find the right fit for you and your family!

Moving can be a challenge. You enroll the kids in school, unpack the countless boxes, and work towards building a new life for you and your family. During the adjustment, neighbors, teachers, and friends will meet your emotional and social needs, but the true question is how will you fulfill your spiritual needs?

This website provides a simple overview of First Baptist Church in Midlothian. Our vision is to “transform our community, one changed life at a time.” We believe that when Jesus touches a person, that person changes. Enough changes linked together and you can see a family change. Enough changed families linked together and you can see a community transformed.

The links above will provide you with needed information about our ministries and activities. We would love to host you as you join us on this journey of seeing lives changed. Our prayer is that you will find a church family for your family.
